Success leaves clues. There are several common attributes of every successful companies, such as clear vision, effective mission statement, discipline, and willing to change. I strong believe that if we, personally, can treat ourself as a company, and then organize it like any other successful companies, the saying "nothing is impossible" will always be true in our life. I will further explain why we need to treat ourself as our first company here.
Sometime we are too busy in "our job" and keep managing our "company business". We have spend at least eight hours per day and 5 days per week to organise and manage "our company". However, how many hours you have spend on yourself to organize and manage your personal development? How many hours you have spend for your family to build your relationship? How many hours you have spend to just make your life more happy and relax? Don't you think that are important in your personal life? I believe that most people know about them but few people do them regularly.
Next, what will happen if all the employee did not go to their company punctually everyday? What will happen if all the employee did not try their best to help the company to find more customers? What will happen if a company did not have a clear vision, effective mission statement and policy? What will happen if a company did not want to change their point of view to suit their customers?
Besides that, it is quite often to hear someone around us who want to start their own business but lack of financial support, friends' support, family support etc. Are that the reasons they cannot start their business? How about start managing yourself a your first company? Are you discipline enough? Have you able to state out your vision and mission of your life? Try it first before you tell anybody you want start your own business.
Therefore, start treating yourself as your first company and thinking about your future today.
