Knowing or learning how to love a man can seem like one of those mysteries that will never reveal itself for you. The stereotype of differences that exist between men and women make it impossible to believe you can ever love him the "right" way when, in the first place, there is no "right" way, and in the second place, you can show your love for him in many of the same ways you want him to show his love for you.To begin with, make sure that you can communication with him - but don't force it! A lot of men are different than those women who want to talk out their feelings whenever they arise. To love a man, you need to compliment him. Men enjoy being complimented as much as women, although they may show it differently. Men can especially get self-conscious about their appearances, so telling him how great he looks can be a great way to telegraph your love for him.
Always look on the inside. If there are things about a man that you don't like or outright can't stand, you should try to see what might be making him act that way. Trying to see who he is on the inside can reveal a whole new person - perhaps one that you love more than life.
Finally, make sure that you take an interest in what he wants. Learn about his hobbies, his hopes, and his dreams. Find out who he is at heart, because every man is more than the sum of his parts. Sometimes, learning how to love a man is more about learning who exactly he is.
