Trik Menambahkan Status Online IM

Jika anda termasuk pengguna layanan instant messenger (seperti Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk, Skype, dll), anda dapat memasang ikon statusnya di dalam blog. Dengan ikon status ini, para pengunjung blog dapat mengetahui apakah anda sedang online/offline pada layanan2 IM yang anda gunakan. ;) Untuk lebih jelasnya, ikuti cara2 berikut ini…

Menambahkan Status Yahoo! Messenger

1. Buka http://messenger.yahoo.com/addpresence.php
2. Masukkan Yahoo! ID anda, maka secara otomatis terbentuk kode HTML
3. Anda tinggal login ke Blogger, masuk ke Layout > Page Elements
4. Tambahkan Page Element berupa HTML/JavaScript, isikan dengan kode HTML yang telah anda dapatkan tadi
5. Klo udah, klik tombol Save
6. :t Sebenarnya anda dapat mengubah tampilan status dengan variasi lainnya, yaitu dengan mengubah parameter t dengan nilai antara 0-9. 2. Anda akan mendapatkan kode HTML-nya, tetapi anda harus menyesuaikan parameter jid dengan Jabber ID anda, dan parameter ib sesuai dengan tampilan ikon status yang diinginkan (dapat anda lihat pada Help)
3. Klo udah, masukkan kode HTML tersebut ke dalam elemen baru berupa HTML/JavaScript
4. Klo udah, klik tombol Save
5. Selanjutnya login ke akun Google Talk anda, jika anda mendapatkan permintaan dari jabstatus@njs.netlab.cz, klik aja Yes, dengan demikian status IM Google Talk anda telah berhasil ditambahkan ke dalam blog anda :)

Menambahkan Status Skype

1. Sebelumnya, kita harus mengaktifkan persetujuan untuk menampilkan ikon status didalam web. Masuk ke akun Skype, klik menu Tools > Options > Privacy, beri centang pada Allow my status to be shown on the web, lalu klik tombol Save untuk menyimpan setting
2. Klo udah, buka http://www.skype.com/intl/en/share/buttons/wizard.html
3. Kemudian masukkan nama akun skype anda dan atur setting tampilan ikon status sesuai keinginan anda, maka secara otomatis kode HTML terbentuk

How to Create Email Form Subscription

The function of Email Form Subscription is to let your loyal visitors to subscribe your new article/posting in to their email. So if your post a new article your subscriber will receive your article automatically. It’s very usefull, your subscriber will know if there is a new article, so they will come to visit your blog immediatly.
Here the trick to create Email Form Subscription

1. visit this site : http://www.feedburner.com
2. You will see a box to enter your blog feeds. enter your blog feeds in to the box. Usually your blog feeds is like this : http://YOURBLOGNAME.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default
3. If you have video file in your blog content, check on the "I am a podcaster"box, If not, it’s unnecessary. Then click "Next" Button.
4. After that, you must to fill a form, fill it with your information then click on the "Activate Feed"
5. If you’re succeed, you will see "Congrats your....." notificaton.
6. On the buttom you will see a "Next" Button and a link "Skip directly to feed management", choose this link.
7. You will see some menus on top. Choose "Email Subscription" menu.
8. On the left you will see some menu again, now click on the "Email Subscriptions"
9. Then click on the "Activate" button.
10. You will some code on the boxes. Choose code in the "Subsciption Form Code" box, and copy it. then click "Save" Button.

11. To plug it on your blog, go to "Layout-->>Add Page element-->HTML/Javascript" paste your code on the box.

See your blog, Now you have an "Email Form Subscription"

How to Create Blogroll (Link List Box)

As a bloger, we usually added our Friends link on our blog. Day by day and month by month it's number will increased. But if your friends link over than hundredsor or even thousands, it will be a problem, your blog space will full of your friends link list.
Now I will show you how to create a blogroll, a box to place your friends link list. You can fill it with as many as links, and it's size will not get bigger. So it will save space on your blog or sidebar. The box will be like mine.

Here's the code that you should to copy and place on your blog or sidebar ("Add Page Element --> HTML/Java Script").

Note:
- Text width: 200px; and height: 300px; is size of the box, you can change it according to your place or sidebar size .
- Change the text "#link1,#link2, #link3 dst" with your friends link list.

Display Yahoo Messenger Status on Blog

The advantage of showing Yahoo Messenger status on your blog is your visittors can talk or ask something to you directly via YM, it will make your relationship with your visitor to be more tighly. Ok lets begin.

If you’re oflfline, it will display image like this:

It’s very simple to create it. You just copy the code below and put it on your "Page Element" or sidebar.

Change the red text (kendhin_x) with your YM id.
Look at the green number "2", you can change it. What the result of doing this? you will different image/icon as your YM status.

Widget to Put Comment Box Under Posting

Sometimes ago I have posted an articel about "How to Create Commnet Box Under Posting" it use haloscan comment box. It working well for some bloger and bad for some bloger too. If you failed or dislike using haloscan comment box, may be this will be alternatifvfor you. This comment box is created by intensedebate.com, this comment box can be use as a widget, and to apply this widget is very simple, and to remove this is more simple it just like when you remove Page Element from your blog. Ok, if you interest to try this widget I’ll show you how to put it.

1. Login to Blogger.com the chose "Layout --> Edit HTML", click on the link "Download Full Template" to backup your template first

2. Then go to intensedebate.com site sgn up, the login and go to "dashboard"

3. On the up right you will see "add blog" button, click the button

4. Then you will see a box to insert your blog url, fill it then press the button .

5. Then you will see a page like this:

6. For easy, chose"Widget (Recomended)".

7. There are some choice on the "Replace Comment System". Chose "On post without comments" if you want the comment box show under no comment articel (your previouse comment still exist). If you want the comment box exist on every posting chose "On all blog post" (You will lose your previouse comments, but it can be restored).

8. The click "Complete Installation" button.

9. You will see the page like this :
