The Mac version of the popular productivity software will make its debut in three flavors: Office for Mac Home and Student 2011, Office for Mac Home and Business 2011 and Office for Mac Academic 2011. Home and Student 2011, which includes Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Messenger, will retail for $119 for an individual install and $149 for a Family Pack (three installs).

Office for Mac Home and Business 2011 will retail for a higher price: $199 for one install and $279 for two installs. However, it comes with a significant addition: Outlook for Mac, which replaces the less capable Entourage e-mail client. The Academic edition of Office, which includes all of the features of the Home and Business version, will cost $99, but is only available for students, faculty and staff of higher education institutions.

Office for Mac 2011 comes in 13 languages, including two new ones: Polish and Russian. This is on top of the English, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Spanish and Swedish versions, most of which will be released by the end of the year.

Microsoft Word 2007: Display Endnote Cite Plug in after disable

Endnote is a very citation management software for word processing software. A very not user-friendly about this software is no idea how to enable it after unconsciously disable it in Microsoft Word 2007.

Follow the steps below, hopefully, your Endnote plug-in function will once again display in your Microsoft Word 2007.

1. Follow the picture below, click on the button on the top-left side of the window, and then, select "Word Options"

2. Next, in the "Word Options" window, select the "Add-Ins" on the left column.

3. In the "Disabled Application Add-Ins" column, select the "EndNote Cite While You Write".

4. After that, in the select box of  "Manage", select "Disable Items" before click "Go..." button.

5. Finally, in the window of "Disabled Items", select the "Addin:..." before click on the "Enable" Button.

Tutorial: Display best fit equation with given points via Microsoft Excel 2007

This tutorial is using Microsoft Excel 2007 to display an equation with given nonlinear data. After that, one can use the equation to Y-axis value with its respective X-axis value.

Example: nonlinear data:

Procedure:
1. Select all data above after key-in them in Microsoft Excel 2007.
2. Click "Insert" -> "Scatter" in the tab above.
3. From the chart, right click one of the points, then select "Add Trendline..."

4. In the "Trendline Options", select desired "Trend/Regression type"
5. And click "Display equation on chart" before close it.
6. From the equation, all the Y value can be estimated by substituting respective X value to the equation.
